Q: I have some items that I'm not sure are real
gold or silver, can you tell if they are real?
A: YES! We encourage you to bring in all items you believe may be gold,
silver, or platinum. We will test them for you while you watch and determine the metal content of
these items FREE of charge.
Q: Am I obligated to sell my items once you have tested
them?
A: NO! Our testing and our offer is FREE to you. As you know, gold price changes constantly and therefore any offer we
make is only good at the time we make the offer. If you choose not
to sell and later change your mind, no problem, we will re-test
and make a new offer.
Q: Do you have to remove my gemstones before making
an offer on my jewelry?
A: NO! We do not remove stones before we
make you an offer. In many cases, we will include the weight of the stones as gold
weight. If the stones are very large, we might have to adjust the
weight of your items to allow for this.
Q: Why should I bring my gold & silver
to Tri-City Gold Buyers instead of one of those "We buy gold" buildings I
see popping up everywhere?
A: Simple, we pay more. Think about it, if all you do is buy gold and you
have to pay rent on a building, employee wages, utilities, etc..
then you are going to have to make more in order to stay in
